Rules for staying in the Lodge Cabin Home

Mandolin Creek Lodge Rules

By making a reservation, guests agree to all of the following considitions and rules.

Liability Waiver

Mandolin Creek Lodge is located on a working farm. All guests must sign an agreement that indemnifies our personnel, property, and operations against potential mutual liabilities.

Check-In

Afternoon check-in at the Lodge Cabin Home begins at 3pm on the day of your arrival, but you are welcome to schedule an early arrival at the Farm.

When arriving, all guests must check-in at the Farm Office. Our staff will help you with the following:

  1. Complete and sign any necessary paperwork,
  2. Receive room keys
  3. Give you a brief tour and orientation (see below)
  4. Provide any additional assistance

If you arrive early, you may enjoy the public Farm space until we have finished preparing the Cabin Home for your stay.

Orientation and Tour

After checking in at the Farm Office, our farmstay host will take you to the lodge and give you a brief orientation.

This tour covers several important features about the property, ensuring your stay is enjoyable and safe:

  • Main trails and buildings
  • Pastures, fences, gates, and borders
  • Springs, creeks, ponds, and the river
  • Livestock, wildlife, predators, and pests

After your orientation, you may start exploring and enjoying the Farm space.

Check-Out

Morning check-out at the Cabin Home ends at 11am.

No Pets

Pets are not allowed due to the potential for future guests to have allergic reactions. In addition, we do not want your animals to get into trouble from being in close proximity to our farm animals.

No Smoking, Fires, or Fireworks

No smoking, fireworks, or other flammable materials are allowed anywhere on our property. We are in a rural fire district, and we do not have the means to respond quickly if there is a fire. Violations of this rule may result in a hefty fee, loss of your full security deposit, and premature termination of your stay.

Protect Our Livestock

Care must be taken not to upset, frighten, or otherwise disturb the livestock. More generally, playing around the Lodge Barn is strictly forbidden.

Costs and Fees

Please familiarize yourself with our guest services for information about the standard services that we provide, including housekeeping and linen services.

Late Checkout

Late checkout may result in additional charges.

Extra Cleaning

If our housekeepers must perform an unusual amount of work to clean up after you, we may charge an additional cleaning fee.

Damages and Losses

Our staff maintains a detailed inventory of the Lodge Cabin Home. We may charge for replacing damaged or missing items, including but not limited to towels, linens, glassware, bric-a-brac, knick-knacks, paddy-whacks, and dog bones.
